Manawatahi Kapa Haka

Palmerston North is home to Massey University, a beautiful campus located just a few miles from where we live.  Manawatahi is the Maori student association at Massey.  A few of our church friends are involved in this organization, and we were so privileged to attend the dress rehearsal of their Kapa Haka routine which they will perform at an upcoming competition.  The entire selection lasted a bit over twenty minutes, with singing and dancing and high energy throughout.  It was spectacular.  We were mesmerized.  This video doesn't do justice to the amazing volume and energy we witnessed, but it's a taste.  Our very best wishes to the Manawatahi Kapa Haka team on their competition!
